Maybe worth recruiting some allies, so you can switch back behind the gun 
believe me there's nothing i'd like more than to switch sides but there may be some scope for capturing it as part of the game 
,it was always the intention that who ever jumped behind it could have a go .i checked today to see how heavy it was to move about and was pleasantly surprised how easy it roll's ,admittedly there are a few more bit's to add but still quite promising .it breaks down into small enough bits that it will go in the boot of an estate car ,there may even be scope for building it as a game objective

just got the trigger made ,its the big metal lever on the side , the real gun is fired by a foot pedal and aimed with two hand wheel's ,obviously our's is not but we felt that something more substantial than a little trigger was needed so we used a little artistic licence .

OK been busy putting on the Dressy bits
Mag fitted
Rear handles fitted
Basket fitted on RHS to catch shells
Front side plates fitted to the gun shield
Another great bit of re cycling my BMW gas strut from my estate car is exactly the same as the Flak 38`s on the RHS (And No I didn`t steal off the wifes car they needed replacement) I am not that brave
enough to make a grown man giggle like a school girl , i love the new part's on the shields ,really makes them come alive.

May I ask how the main armament is meant to function? Will it basically just be a white laser of BB's, running on auto and from a large magazine?

No Way!
It has got a low gearing in the gearbox, I think 
ask dadio for specifics and we are using 100 rd M4 mags and the gun team are only getting 2 of these! so you will need a loader 
It would certainly be a useless bit of kit if it was firing a white laser with a massive Mag 
OK paint job 75% done. Gone for the Normandy Camo as i like it

teck wise the gearbox is a version 7 ,gears are 18/1 ratio and it's being run on a 7.2v Nimh battery ,it has a slightly warm motor but its really a fairly low rate of fire ,it has a limited traverse so it can be flanked ,this is by no mean's designed to be an unstoppable death machine ,it's a working prop ,cool to use and formidable to assault plus it's an answer to armoured vehicles if they are in play but it's designed not to be an overwhelming advantage and will require infantry support not to be flanked .if it does become to hard to overcome then the ammo can be limited .
